Deadly explosion at NC plant kills worker, more details here!

A deadly explosion at a Wadesboro, North Carolina plant killed one worker Thursday evening.
The blast occurred at around 9 p.m. at Darling Ingredients rendering plant where firefighters first noticed a plume of smoke emanating from the factory.
Anson County Emergency Services Chief Rodney Diggs said that air monitoring determined that there were no further threats to first responders.
They entered the structure to find a worker dead. Preliminary evidence revealed that the explosion was triggered by aluminum chloride.
The plant’s spokesperson, Suann Guthrie said that following the incident, the site was shut down.
“We are deeply saddened by the loss of our employee,” Guthrie said.
