A 78-year-old woman gave herself a sensual makeover – turning heads as she looks decades younger

Getting old is not something fun that happens to us.

The body begins to betray us, the skin begins to become loose in places where it used to be stretched, and the face begins to show our advanced age.

Nowadays there are of course products that can hide certain things. For Joanne Hopkins, the mother of the famous makeup artist Christopher Hopkins, makeup makes all the difference in the world.

In fact, she feels so good in makeup that she even sleeps with it!

Now, sleeping with makeup on is not something we recommend (as it can damage the skin, among other things..), but Joanne doesn’t really care.

She says that everyone has the right to feel comfortable in their own skin, and to hell with the people who want to judge her.

In her view, people should do the things they love without others having anything to say about it, and that’s definitely a statement we stand behind.

And if you can say one thing about Joanne, she sure knows how to apply make up. She applies it so well that even her son, Christopher, gives her all the credit for his makeup talent.

“This is what I saw every day growing up and it fascinated me. You can see where I got my inspiration from. I will always see her the way she looks after it”.

Of course we should also strive to feel good about our bodies no matter what, but it’s amazing to see Joanne’s talent.
