A man surprised his ex with the best gift anyone can get, simply because he thinks she’s a good mom

A man left his ex without words after telling her he had paid the mortgage for her house.

Shaun Nyland surprised his ex-girlfriend, Kat, with amazing news and documented her reaction and uploaded it to Tiktok.

He told Kat, who is the mother of his child, the good news on her 31st birthday.

In a video he uploaded to Tiktok, which has been viewed more than 5 million times, you can see Shaun giving a collection of keys when she asks, “Why are you giving me them?”.

And he replies: “It’s your birthday today, and I want you to have the best birthday ever”.

“And look, I know we’re not together anymore, but I’m so proud of you. You’re the best mom ever, so I did something. I called the bank, and I paid off your entire mortgage. The house belongs to you now”.

Kat was calm after hearing the news Shaun told her, because she did not believe him.

“I promise you, it’s your house now. I called the bank and paid off the entire mortgage. You’re the owner of the house”.

He told Kat to check her email where she would find all the information, and after checking she realized it was not a joke and she was just in shock.

Shaun posted another video in which he explains why he decided to pay off the mortgage, not only for Kat, but also for their son.

“In the end, my ex gave me the best gift a man could ask for by bringing Leo into the world, and I know it was hard for her to live the same quality of life we had when we were together”, he said.

“Honestly friends, I’m still shaking. I’m just grateful I could have done it not only for Kat, but also for my child, who is now guaranteed to have a roof over his head for the rest of his life, and I just think if I can do it,
then why not? It was obvious to me”.

Shaun and Kat were together 7 years before they broke up earlier this year.
