After Mom Remarried, 5-Year-Old Became The Sole Carer For Grandma And Great-Grandma
At five years of age, one Chinese girl is already the sole caregiver to her grandmother and great-grandmother. How did this happen you ask? The girl’s father was put in jail, and her mother got remarried. Sounds unbelievable – read on.
Wang Anna lives in Zunyi city in southwest China. She cares for her 92-year-old great grandmother and her terminally ill grandmother.
The story comes to us from a reporter who visited with the young girl and her grandmothers. Every day, Anna stands on a stool to cook all the meals.
Then feeds her other relatives. Did we mention that Anna is only five years old?! Anna’s father was put in prison when Anna was only 3-months-old.
Anna’s mother was left to care for her in-laws. Soon after Anna was born, Anna’s mother got remarried and left. I find that disgusting.
If you have a child, they are your responsibility, you don’t just leave them to start a new family. Anna’s life is far from easy.
The young girl has very little time to do the things most five-year-olds do. She has to get up early each day to get all the meals ready.
