Arapahoe County sheriff obtains arrest warrant for father suspected of kidnapping his 4 children

Howard Myles, the 47-year-old noncustodial father of the four siblings, had a court-ordered weekend visit, according to a Friday news release from the sheriff’s office.
Myles picked up the children at 3:45 p.m. on June 30 and was supposed to return them on July 2, but never showed up, the release stated.
On July 2, the Colorado Bureau of Investigation issued an Endangered Child Alert for the four children.

Clarissa Gardette, the children’s mother, is believed to be with Myles as well and also has active warrants for her arrest, officials said.
Jyron Gardette, 9; Jehoward Gardette, 6; Israel Gardette, 4; and Heaven Myles, 7, are believed to be in immediate danger due to a history of neglect, child abuse, drugs, domestic violence, weapons charges and previous endangerment, according to the news release.
The sheriff’s office believes Myles might be headed out of state and toward Louisiana, where the family is originally from. According to the sheriff’s office, Myles has ties to Baton Rouge and New Orleans as well as Dallas, Texas.
Jyron is 4 feet, 2 inches tall, weighs approximately 60 pounds, and has black hair and brown eyes.
Jehoward is 3 feet, 5 inches tall, weighs approximately 45 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes.
Israel is 3 feet, 2 inches tall, weighs approximately 45 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes.
Heaven, the only girl, is 3 feet, 10 inches tall, weighs approximately 52 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes.
All of the children are Black.
Howard Myles, who also is Black, is 5-foot 10-inches tall and has black hair in dreadlocks and brown eyes. He was last seen driving a gold Pontiac Grand Prix with dark-tinted windows.

Tipsters can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $2,000 for any information that furthers the case.
