Artist known for painting Texas’ fallen warriors honoring K-9 officer ‘Lenin’

A local artist is honoring the memory of Baytown K-9 Officer ‘Lenin’ who recently passed away after being bitten by a snake during training.
FOX 26’s Darlene Janik Faires reports on the artist’s tribute to the fallen officer. The loss of the K-9 officer is greatly felt by Baytown police.
The artist, known for painting Texas fallen warriors, is creating a tribute to Lenin. A memorial service will be held on March 21 at Faith Family Church in Baytown, Texas, to honor K9 Lenin.
The service will start at 3:30 p.m. and end with final honors at 4:30 p.m.
