Barack Obama stays silent when asked if wife Michelle is running for president amid rumors!!!
In a recent sighting at a Beverly Hills restaurant, former President Barack Obama remained tight-lipped when asked about the possibility of his wife, Michelle, running for president.
Meanwhile, Michelle Obama, 59, was enjoying a vacation aboard Steven Spielberg’s yacht near Portofino on the Italian Riviera, accompanied by Tom Hanks, his wife Rita Wilson, and Spielberg’s spouse Kate Capshaw.
Paparazzi inquired about Michelle’s potential White House bid as her husband left the restaurant, but Barack offered no comment. Although he muttered something inaudible to waiting photographers, he did not provide a clear response to the question.
These developments follow speculation by prominent Texas politician and former Republican candidate Ted Cruz, who suggested that Michelle might replace Joe Biden before the 2024 election.
Cruz proposed this scenario on his ‘Verdict with Ted Cruz’ podcast, citing concerns about Biden’s age as a potential factor that Democrats could consider.
Currently, Michelle seems to be relishing a leisurely period off the coast of Italy, surrounded by famous friends. The former First Lady has been enjoying a European vacation in the absence of her husband.
She was recently seen taking a boat ride with A-listers such as Tom Hanks, Rita Wilson, Steven Spielberg, and Kate Capshaw near Portofino, basking in the Italian sun and absorbing the breathtaking views.
Earlier in September, Michelle was spotted dining with friends on another vacation in Mallorca, wearing a stylish beaded outfit. She left a restaurant on the Spanish island donning loose black high-waisted shorts and a matching tank top.
Reports suggest that Michelle stayed with former US ambassador to Spain James Costos and his partner, Michael Smith, during her time on the island.
