Bulls Make Move to Sign Patrick Beverley

Chicago Bulls fans have something to cheer about as Patrick Beverley is finalizing a deal with the team, according to his agent Kevin Bradbury. The Chicago native and John Marshall High School alum is expected to bring a much needed ferocity to the Bulls court and locker room. With a record of 26-33 at the All-Star break, the team is two games behind the Toronto Raptors for the last play-in berth.
Beverley was traded from the Los Angeles Lakers to the Orlando Magic on Feb. 9th, but was waived shortly after. He cleared waivers and became a free agent on Feb. 12th. During his time with the Lakers, Beverley averaged 6.4 points, 3.1 rebounds and 2.6 assists in 45 starts.
The Bulls are hoping that Beverley can help them make a push for the playoffs, and the team is expected to create a roster spot for him as early as Tuesday.
