Firefighters were called to the scene of a two-alarm fire at an apartment building in Drexel Hill, Delaware County on Saturday night. Smoke was reportedly coming from the west wing of the complex and there were reports of people being trapped.

According to the latest information from the scene, almost a dozen people were saved, but it was not revealed whether other people were trapped or injured.

Firefighters could be seen in the vicinity of the apartment building. The cause of the fire is still being investigated.

The fire at the Llanerch Place Apartments was a frightening experience for the residents of the complex. Thankfully, the firefighters were able to respond quickly and effectively, leading to the rescue of many of the people in the building.

The fire department is to be commended for their efforts in containing the blaze and ensuring the safety of those in the building.

The fire was a reminder of the importance of fire safety and the need to be prepared in the event of an emergency. It is essential that all residents of multi-story buildings know the proper safety procedures in the event of a fire.

Everyone should have an evacuation plan in place and make sure that they are familiar with the location of all exits. Additionally, it is important to make sure that all smoke detectors are in working order.

The cause of the fire in Drexel Hill is still under investigation. In the meantime, the residents of the complex are likely still shaken by the experience and thankful for the heroic efforts of the firefighters.
