Disaster loan assistance for Texas residents, businesses impacted by Jan. 24 severe storms, tornadoes

Residents and businesses affected by severe storms and tornadoes in Texas on January 24 can now apply for low-interest federal disaster loans through the US Small Business Administration.
The Disaster Loan Outreach Center has opened in Pasadena, where SBA customer service representatives will help with the application process and answer queries about the loan program.
Any-sized businesses, nonprofits, and homeowners can borrow up to $2m, $2.375m, and $200,000 respectively to replace damaged or destroyed equipment, machinery, personal property or real estate.
The deadline for property damage is May 16, while economic injury applications can be submitted until December 18.
