Don’t ever call me that Name again – Donald Trump fires back after He was called a Nickname, Find out Here!

Ap News home page editor Peter Cordi, explains in a news article published on Thursday, September 28, that Christie, during the debate, took a moment to address Trump directly, quipping, “Donald, I know you’re watching. You can’t help yourself.
You’re ducking these things,” alluding to Trump’s absence from the event in favor of attending a Michigan event related to the United Auto Workers strike. Christie continued, “Let me tell you what’s going to happen. You keep doing that, no one here’s going to call you Donald Trump anymore. We’re going to call you Donald Duck.”
Trump, however, didn’t find the nickname amusing. In a subsequent interview with Fox News Digital, he expressed his disapproval, stating, “Anybody that would come up with that nickname shouldn’t be running for president.”
The absence that sparked this nickname dispute was Trump’s decision to skip the debate. He defended his choice by pointing to his substantial lead in the field, emphasizing that he needed to address pressing issues, particularly regarding the United Auto Workers and the Biden administration’s electric vehicle plans.
In his words, Trump deemed it “much more important” to tackle these challenges. On the night of the debate, while his opponents shared the stage, Trump held a rally outside a nonunion auto parts factory. A modest number of United Auto Workers strikers attended the rally, with Trump enthusiastically addressing them and hoping for their union’s endorsement.
Post-debate polling suggested that Christie landed in fourth place in terms of who voters believed “won” the debate, although he secured the fourth-highest speaking time. Meanwhile, former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley emerged as the standout performer, even though she had the fifth-most speaking time.
As things currently stand, Trump enjoys a commanding lead in the latest primary polls, boasting over 54% of Republican support. In comparison, Haley holds third place with slightly over 6% support, while Christie lags behind in sixth place with just under 3% support.
In contrast, the most recent head-to-head poll between Biden and Christie had Biden leading by a substantial 24 points. As the political landscape continues to evolve, these dynamics could influence the course of the 2024 presidential race, making every statement and debate absent subject to scrutiny and interpretation.
