Eastbound I-70 closed through Glenwood Canyon
The interstate is closed at Exit 116, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation. The crash was reported about 1:14 p.m.
No vehicles over 35 feet in length are allowed to detour over Independence Pass.
“Plan for a long duration closure,” a CDOT tweet said.
Travelers can search for alternate routes at cotrip.org.
