Family griefs as Alabama man gunned down by 3 strangers sitting on building stairs

The grieving family of a slain 20-year-old father said that he was shot to death in front of them by strangers sitting on the stairs of a building on Tuesday.

Kristopher Tyler Kenney went to the Spanish Oak Inn motel to visit a friend with his girlfriend and baby son when the shooting occurred.

The man forgot something in his vehicle and went to retrieve it when he was “shot twice by three guys sitting on the stairs of the apartments.”

Kennedy was pronounced dead at the scene, shortly after 8 p.m., his sister said as his girlfriend, baby, and pal “watched him take his final breath.”

“Kristopher was a wonderful father, son, brother, partner and so much more. We are left heartbroken and devastated,” the sister said.
