Father starved his baby to death, then police made another ‘even more disturbing’ discovery!

According to the court documents, the 44-year-old father, Calvin, reportedly took his 15 month old daughter, Alcenti, to a hospital, where she was declared dead on arrival.

Her death reportedly caused some suspicions which led an investigation that led authorities to the hotel, where the father was staying. Police believe Calvin, an alleged member of a cult, kept them all locked inside the room and had ordered her daughter to withhold food from the others as punishment.

Inside they found Alcenti’s mother, Iasia. Three other emaciated children, ages 3 through 5, were also inside the room, as well as Calvin’s daughter, Najlaa, who bore two of the children for her father. Alcenti’s cause of death was ruled starvation.

Sweeting and the other children survived. During their search, investigators found notes about the cult, which mixes ideas of black supremacy with worship of Egyptians and the pyramids.

Calvin and Najlaa were arrested on charges of multiple counts of murder and child cruelty. Calvin was also charged with several counts of ra-e, so-omy and in-est. The defendant pleaded guilty in court and was sentenced to life in prison, with the chance for parole, as part of the plea deal.

Prosecutors said that an investigation uncovered that Calvin fathered two of the children with his daughter Najlaa, and another child with Iasia. Police said Calvin ordered Najlaa to deprive Sweeting and the children of food if they were disobedient.
