For five months she knitted her wedding dress on the bus ride to work, and the result is simply stunning!

Chi Caranta didn’t spend her 50 minute bus ride every morning browsing Facebook, or chatting on WhatsApp. Instead, she invested her time wisely – she turned five months of traveling into a stunning wedding
dress.

Caranta, a gifted knitter, decided to knit her wedding dress to save money and to pay tribute to the woman who taught her to knit.

“I thought knitting my wedding dress would be a beautiful way to honor the memory of my grandmother who taught me to knit when I was a child”, she said.
“I wish my grandmother could see the dress, but she passed away several years ago”.

Most women pay a lot of money for their wedding dress, but it cost Carante $30 (plus the cost of the bus ride), and by knitting the dress every morning on the bus ride, she freed up time to plan the wedding.
