Fox News Hosts Exposed For Knowingly Lying About 2020 Election ‘Fraud’

Fox News has long been known for its conservative views, but recently its hosts have come under fire for knowingly lying about election fraud in the weeks following the 2020 election.

According to court filings made public from Dominion Voting System’s $1.6 billion defamation lawsuit against Fox Corporation, Fox News hosts entertained President Donald Trump’s conspiracy theories surrounding the 2020 election, claiming that fraud on a massive scale explained Joe Biden’s victory.

On-air hosts such as Jeanine Pirro, Tucker Carlson, and Sean Hannity made false claims about Dominion’s voting machines being capable of flipping votes.

However, off-air, Fox insiders had a much more critical understanding of Trump and his lawyers’ false claims. Texts between Tucker Carlson and Laura Ingraham revealed that they both thought Trump lawyer Sidney Powell was “lying” and a “complete nut.”

In addition, Fox owner Rupert Murdoch called the conspiracy theory his network was entertaining “really crazy stuff.”

The case was made stronger by texts about Fox reporter Jacqui Heinrich, who correctly fact-checked a Trump tweet. In reference to the tweet, Dominion’s filings found text messages between Carlson and Hannity where Carlson expressed deep discontent over Heinrich’s reporting.

He wrote, “Please get her fired. Seriously… What the f—? I’m actually shocked… It needs to stop immediately, like tonight. It’s measurably hurting the company. The stock price is down. Not a joke.”

Dominion is now seeking an astounding $1.6 billion in damages from Fox for the network’s systemic lying surrounding the election. Fox attorneys argue that the lawsuit is an attack on free speech and threatens to dissuade journalists in the future from reporting on information that could be unfavorable to specific companies.

The case between Fox and Dominion is ongoing, and it remains to be seen how it will play out in the courts. However, it is clear that Fox News hosts knowingly lied about election fraud and have been exposed for it.
