Freeze Warning issued for areas northeast of Houston on Monday

The Houston area will experience cold weather on the official first day of Spring, according to reports.
The National Weather Service has issued a Freeze Warning from 1 a.m. to 9 a.m. on Monday for certain counties in the area.
The northeastern counties are expected to be the coldest with mid to lower 30’s temperatures.
Frost and freezing temperatures could negatively impact sensitive vegetation.
It is important to protect plants and outdoor plumbing, as well as to make sure pets are safe from the cold conditions.
Milder conditions are expected on Monday night, but another cold front is anticipated at the end of the week.
