‘I shot her’: Arizona dad allegedly killed wife in front of their 4 kids, then casually confessed to neighbor
The image shows Mohammad Alkurdi, a man from Chandler, Arizona who has been arrested for allegedly shooting and killing his wife in their apartment while their four young children were present.
According to the Chandler Police Department’s press release, on March 14, officers responded to a report about a domestic violence-related shooting at the apartment complex. Upon arrival, they found the victim, who had been shot and was later pronounced deceased. Alkurdi was detained outside the apartment with his four children.
The victim’s identity has not been revealed, pending notification of her next of kin. Alkurdi reportedly has a history of domestic violence issues, and police are still investigating the case.
Alkurdi is currently charged with first-degree murder, and police may also file charges for child endangerment.
