Joe Biden‘s son, Hunter Biden has filed a lawsuit against John Paul Mac Isaac, the Delaware computer repairman who turned over a laptop allegedly containing personal data concerning Hunter to conservative activists during the lead-up to the 2020 election.

The counterclaim, filed in Delaware federal court, accuses Mac Isaac of violating Hunter’s privacy by accessing the files without permission and sharing them with various individuals, for commercial purposes, and without Hunter’s consent.

The laptop made headlines after Giuliani turned over its contents to the New York Post, which ran an exposé purporting to show the elder Biden’s involvement in corrupt business dealings.

The social media companies banned the article’s promotion on their networks, and a lawsuit by Mac Isaac against Twitter was subsequently dismissed.
