More road closures announced ahead of Final 4 events
With the arrival of the Final Four in the Bayou City, more road closures have been announced in the area surrounding Discovery Green.
To prepare for NCAA Final Four events, several roads will be closed beginning March 21.
These include McKinney between LaBranch and Crawford Street, LaBranch between Lamar and McKinney Street, and Lamar between LaBranch and Crawford Street. Additionally, two lanes on Avenida de las Americas leading to the George R. Brown Convention Center will be closed.
Drivers are advised to steer clear of these routes and anticipate longer commutes in the vicinity.
