Reports last week reveals that One person was killed and 22 others admitted following the outbreak of Listeria which was reportedly originated from Florida.

According to new findings by Centers for Disease Control (CDC) listeria outbreak is linked to ice cream sold from the Big Olaf Creamery in Florida.

According to TheHill, CDC interviewed 14 people out of 17 and they confirmed they ate ice cream and the location is Big Olaf Creamery in Florida.

  2. Big Olaf Creamery is a popular place known to serve a specific brand of ice cream.

Meanwhile, Big Olaf Creamery in a statement addressed being linked to listeria outbreak,

“it is only speculation” that its ice cream is responsible for the listeria outbreak. “Our brand has not been confirmed to be linked to these cases. Nothing has been proven,” the statement partially read.

The company said they are fully cooperating with the ongoing investigation.
