Savannah Bananas visit Texas Children’s Hospital during their stop in Sugar Land

The Savannah Bananas, known for their playful antics on the baseball field, spread some joy to patients at Texas Children’s Hospital during their Banana Ball Tour.
The team, which played a three-game series in Sugar Land, made a special visit to children’s rooms and the hospital’s Child Life Zone.
One patient, 4-year-old baseball fan Oliver Blankenship, got to meet the team and even danced with them in his room.
Catcher Bill LeRoy said they were blessed to be there and create joy for the kids, and hoped to visit again in the future. FOX 26’s Matthew Seedorff also joined the team on the field to try his hand at playing with them.
