Several frozen fruit products recalled over listeria contamination

A recall of several frozen fruit products has been issued amid potential listeria contamination fears.
Sunrise Growers Inc. issued the recall of pineapple-linked products sold nationwide at numerous retailers including Walmart, Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s, Target, and Aldi.
The FDA provided a list of lot codes and expiration dates figuring on the recalled products’ packaging.
Customers are asked not to eat the recalled products and throw them away or return them to the retailer for a full refund.
The recall alert was triggered by health concerns about potential listeria contamination.
The infection causes serious and even deadly illness in children, elderly, and frail immune patients.
Symptoms include fever, headache, stiffness, abdominal pain, and digestive troubles.
