USALOADED.COM earlier reported that a Homeless man attacked Olympian Kim Glass with weapon and nearly blinded her eyes.
Kim Glass, popular Olympic medal-winning volleyball player took to her Instagram story to narrates how she escaped being blinded by a Homeless man who attacked her.
The incident happened in Los Angeles, California, United States. Glass revealed that she was hit in the face with a metal pipe that left visible bruises on her face and left her with a few fractures.
“I was outside saying goodbye to a friend, and this homeless man ran up. He had something in his hand, he was on the side of the car in the street, and he just like looked at me with some pretty hateful eyes and as I go to tell my friend I think something is wrong with him before I knew it a big metal bolt like pipe hit me. It happened so fast, he literally flung it from the street.”
Kim Glass said that people held the man down until police arrived. That was after He had flung a large metal bolt at her face.
Suspect who attacked Kim Glass charged with Assault
In a recent update about the issue, Fox News reports that the 51-year-old suspect identified as Semeon Tesfamariam has been charged with assault with a deadly weapon.
Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascóns said,
“This was a brutal, unprovoked attack. Mr. Tesfamariam has a troubling history of attacking apparently random people with dangerous weapons. His behavior appears to have escalated with time.”
Meanwhile, the Officials also made it known that Tesfamariam was convicted of felony assault in 2018 and 2019.
