Houston Police Department Offers Reward for Information on Aggravated Robbery Suspect

The Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division is seeking information on a suspect involved in an aggravated robbery incident that occurred on February 13, 2021, around 1:20 pm. The department is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the identification and arrest of the suspect.

According to reports, the victim had parked his vehicle in a business parking lot on the 6400 block of Windswept Lane in Houston when he was approached by an unknown suspect. The suspect opened the victim’s rear passenger door, reached into the center console, and stole an envelope containing cash. The suspect then got into a light-colored Toyota Corolla with dark window tint as the victim followed.

As the victim attempted to stop the suspect, he opened the driver’s side door, and a fight ensued. The suspect in the Toyota Corolla attempted to drive off but crashed into a pressure washer and a parked vehicle before fleeing on foot. The other suspect then pulled out a handgun, pointed it at the victim, and fled the scene.

The victim had withdrawn a large sum of money from Capital One bank on Blalock Road before the incident and believes he was followed by the suspects. The initial suspect is described as a black male with a medium build, wearing a black hoodie and dark-colored pants. The second suspect, who was driving the Toyota Corolla, is described as a black male wearing a black shirt, black pants, and plastic-rimmed glasses.
