Tears as teenager drowns after getting pinned underneath flatable tube in Arizona

A 14-year-old girl drowned after getting pinned underneath an inflatable tube earlier this week, authorities said.
Bullhead City investigators said that the teen, who was visiting the Colorado River area from Downey, was in the tube pulled by a jet ski when she was tossed.
The victim found herself stuck underneath the tube and against the piling of the Laughlin Bridge. The jet ski also capsized.
Police said that the teen was wearing a life jacket but couldn’t get out of the water to breathe.
Rescuers pulled her from the river and started CPR at the scene. She was rushed to a hospital where she was declared dead.
The death was deemed accidental. Authorities said that the jet ski rider who was pulling the tube was not impaired or acting recklessly at the time of the accident.
