Texas Department of Criminal Justice van crashed with 2 officers, inmate inside in Polk County

Reports confirm that a TDCJ van was involved in an accident on Highway 59 in Polk County, Texas, with three individuals onboard. The accident took place on Sunday at 8:40 a.m., just two miles south of Goodrich, on the northbound side.
The van was carrying two correctional officers and one inmate, and their current condition remains unconfirmed.
The officers were taken to Kingwood Hospital, and the inmate was taken to Memorial Hermann.
Reports indicate that their injuries do not appear to be life-threatening. As more information becomes available, the story will continue to be updated.
