As Donald Trump’s buddy Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) faces a rebellion among House Republicans, reports suggest that some members of the caucus are seeking to remove him from office. CNN reported that an unnamed House Republican indicated that the caucus wants Gaetz gone and may use the findings from the ongoing Ethics Committee investigation into him as grounds for his expulsion.

“WE WANT HIM OUT,” THE MEMBER SAID.
Additionally, Fox News White House correspondent Jacqui Heinrich reported that House Republicans are preparing to take action against Gaetz, pending the outcome of the ethics report. An unnamed House Republican told Heinrich that Gaetz has become highly unpopular within the caucus.
