BuzzShade reports Vice President of United States of America Kamala Harris and Mayor of Chicago Lori Lightfoot have reacted after the mass shooting that occurred on 4th July.
According to reports, the shooting that claimed the lives of 6 people leaving more than two dozen others injured took place during Fourth of July celebration parade.
People run frantically for their safety. All victims that lost their lives in the incident were adults, 5 died at the spot while the 6th person died at the Hospital. One of the victims has been identified as 78-year-old Nicolas Toledo.

About 31 people sustained injuries, most suffered gunshot wounds. They were taken to The NorthShore University Health System.

While reacting to the, VP Kamala Harris took to Her verified Twitter page to speak:
“Doug and I are praying for the dozens of people who have been hospitalized and those who were lost today in Highland Park, Illinois. This shooting is an unmistakable reminder that more should be done to address gun violence in our country.”
