Will Smith Wife Drops Tupac Murder Bombshell

Jada Pinkett Smith, close friend of rapper Tupac Shakur, has shared her thoughts on the recent arrest of a suspect in Shakur’s 1996 murder case. The two had met at the Baltimore School for the Arts in Maryland during the late 1980s and developed a strong friendship.
Tupac Shakur tragically lost his life on September 7, 1996, in a drive-by shooting in Las Vegas at the age of 25.
The suspect, Duane “Keffe D” Davis, was indicted on the charge of open murder with the use of a deadly weapon, along with a gang enhancement. Chief Deputy District Attorney Marc DiGiacomo revealed that a grand jury had been convened for several months to examine the case.
DiGiacomo described Davis as the individual who had “ordered the death” of Shakur and acted as the “on-ground, on-site commander.”
Earlier in the month, Pinkett Smith had shared a video of herself and Tupac Shakur lip-syncing and dancing to “Parents Just Don’t Understand” by Will Smith and DJ Jazzy Jeff. She reflected on the video as a tangible memory of their time together as young friends, a poignant reminder of their shared moments.
