Worker at St. Louis day care arrested for leaving bag of meth on facility’s floor (Photo)

A worker at a St. Louis daycare is facing charges after she allegedly left a bag of meth on the facility’s floor.

36-year-old Nichole Doster was charged with possession of a controlled substance and eight counts of endangering the welfare of a child in connection with the June 16 incident.

Doster is accused of leaving a bag of methamphetamine at KidsPlay Childcare & Preschool where she worked

The drug was found by a fellow teacher on the floor of the infant’s room where eight babies were sleeping; officers said that the plastic baggie contained a large crystalline substance and crystalline powder.

Investigators determined that Doster owned the baggie after finding a similar one in her purse.

Officials at the childcare said that Doster had been working at the facility for two years and had a good background check.

“We’re shocked by this,” the officials added in a statement.
