15-Year-Old Sold into Sex Trafficking at Dallas Mavericks Game
The recent story of a 15-year-old girl being taken from a Dallas Mavericks game and sold into sex trafficking has shocked and horrified the nation. Human trafficking is a global issue, but this story has opened many people’s eyes to the reality of how widespread it is.
The girl was taken from the game by a trafficker, but luckily, was able to be rescued and returned home. The man who found her and helped her return home is being praised for his heroic actions. FOX 26’s Damali Keith recently spoke with this man, who discussed the details of the incident.
The man, who wishes to remain anonymous, said that he was at the game with his daughter when he noticed a man behaving suspiciously. He quickly realized that the man was attempting to lure the 15-year-old girl away from her father. He immediately stepped in and was able to save the girl.
The man said that he was shocked and saddened by the incident, but he was also happy to have been able to help the girl. He said that he hopes his story will help raise awareness about human trafficking and encourage people to be more vigilant.
Human trafficking is a global issue and stories like this one remind us of the importance of being aware of our surroundings. We must all do our part to help fight human trafficking and make sure that no one else has to go through what this 15-year-old girl did.
