Texas Lotto jackpot ‘springs’ to $54.5 million for Monday night’s drawing
The Texas Lottery has made an announcement that the jackpot for Monday night’s drawing has reached an estimated annuitized value of $54.5 million.
This is the largest jackpot the game has seen in over 12 years.
The cash value for the lucky winner of the drawing will be worth approximately $33 million. Executive director of the Texas Lottery, Gary Grief, said that Texas Lottery players will be daydreaming about winning this exciting Lotto Texas jackpot.
He reminded players to play responsibly and to seek financial and legal advice if they appear to have the winning ticket.
In 2022, there were six jackpot winners for Lotto Texas; the most recent winner being a Katy resident who claimed their prize of $19 million in September 2022. If there is no winner for Monday night’s drawing, the jackpot will increase to $55.5 million for Wednesday’s drawing.
