Philadelphia Family Seeks Justice After Man is Killed in Wissinoming

On Tuesday, July 12, Daren Collins returned home after spending time with family members. Little did he know that his life was about to end. As he stepped out of his car, he was gunned down.
Collins’ family remembers him as the center of attention. He was a sociable person, always joking, and a hard worker. He was 34 and had seven children. His nickname was “Mikey.”
His fiancé, Arit Edem, received a call from him at 10 p.m. that night. About 15 minutes later, she heard gunshots and saw his car parked outside, but didn’t hear him come in the house. When she went outside, she found him lying on the ground, and he was pronounced dead at the hospital. She believes that this was not an accidental act.
The city of Philadelphia is offering a reward of up to $20,000 for the arrest and conviction of those responsible. All you have to do is call the Citizens Crime Commission at 215-546-TIPS. All calls remain anonymous.
The family is desperate for justice and closure. They want to know who is responsible for taking away an innocent soul.
If you have any information about this crime, please contact the Citizens Crime Commission at 215-546-TIPS. Any information you provide may be the key to bringing justice to Daren Collins’ family.
