Photos Captured A Heartwarming Tale Of A Mother’s Love For Her Sickly Child
Here is a heartwarming story. Derek Madsen, a 10 year-old boy in California experienced a sudden change in his life during the summer of 2005. He had been diagnosed with neuroblastoma, which was a rare form of cancer commonly found in young children.
Cindy French, his mother, made a lot of sacrifices to support her son throughout his treatment. She even gave up her beauty salon to ensure that she has enough time for him.

A woman, Renée C. Byer, asked for permission from Derek’s family to document his battle with cancer.

However, his radiation treatments eventually became too much for Derek to overcome.
