Man Defends Himself During Home Invasion – Then Pays A Hefty Price

Defending your house and home may get you into a lot of trouble with the law. In Canada, Kyle Earl Munroe happened to be home when three armed men broke into his home.

Munroe wasn’t going to let them just waltz in and take what they wanted, and he fought back! During the struggle, Munroe managed to take one of the guns, and he used it against the invaders!

The three men fled the scene and Munroe called the police.

In a shocking turn, Munroe was arrested and charged with attempted murder, careless use of a firearm, intent to discharge a firearm, possession for the purpose of trafficking, and unauthorized possession of a firearm!

All this because he defended his home! Monroe has been released until his trial, but is being treated like a criminal, he can’t leave his house unless he has to go to work, he is banned from having any alcohol and can’t even use a cellphone! Do the police understand that Munroe was the victim in this case?

What happened to the three men who broke into his house? Don’t they get punished? Another Canadian, Ian Thomson was also prosecuted for defending his home.

Thomson fired warning shots at four men who were throwing Molotov cocktails at his home – the police arrested Thomson who was in more trouble than the attackers!

I am not sure this makes any sense at all! Thomson and Munroe wouldn’t have used guns if they were not under attack. Things sure are different in Canada! Share away, people.
